The Hornets began their game against Red Beach Galaxy with only
three players although they were soon joined on court by a fourth member of the
team. So, it was a brave battle and a display of superb skill from the Hornets
which forced Galaxy to fight hard for a victory. The final result was an
impressive 4-6, with Joshua only narrowly missing a couple of shots which would
have seen our team emerge victorious. Nevertheless, it was an outstanding match
from the Hornets and a worthy Player of the Day in Bridie Smith.
